The T model is the basis for Otto Bock’s successful Avantgarde series of wheelchairs for active use. This modern wheelchair with extensive functions and an attractive design is a reliable companion in demanding everyday life. This is a wheelchair that has been precisely designed and customized for the needs of the user, so that it accepts
every challenge and provides its user with the reliable mobility he or she desires. The anterior frame can be ordered at an angle of 70° or 80°, depending on what the user wants.

The entire chair is designed for maneuverability and compact dimensions, so that its user can also move confidently through narrower areas. A large number of options
for every component group of this modularly designed wheelchair for active use makes it possible to ensure an ideal fitting. Standard equipment includes an adjustable back height and ergonomically adaptable back belts, which are a must for the active user. Anyone who wants to switch between active and relaxed seat positions should select the Ergo back. Its pivot point for angle adjustment is at the same height as the user’s hip joint; and to make sure this remains so when seating cushions are switched, it is also
possible to adjust the height.

Not only a single-panel footrest, but also individual footrests and a footrest for short lower leg lengths are available above 16 cm. 
Another very intelligent option is the shock absorber system, which reliably cushions shocks when driving on uneven ground and makes the Avantgarde T a comfortable means for traveling on both paved and unpaved surfaces. The assembly of Otto Bock power add-on drives can also be provided in the delivery without any difficulties.
